Frequently Asked Questions

Is it a centralized platform? Can I maintain my autonomy?

(1) The positioning of GEDIS: Rules, not platforms
GEDIS is essentially a set of collaborative rules and interface standards similar to "chess rules" or "TCP/IP protocols".
It does not own, store, or control the core business data and assets of the participating parties. Its role is to define how everyone can securely, trustfully, and frictionlessly achieve interconnection and collaboration. All participants are equal in terms of their roles before the rules.
(2) "Sovereign Deployment" Ensures Your Control
Data Sovereignty: Your critical business data (such as production details, customer information) can be stored in an environment under your autonomous control or designated compliant environment (such as local servers, private clouds). Through GEDIS rules, you only need to provide verifiable credentials (such as "production of a certain batch has been completed") to the ecosystem as per the agreement, without disclosing the original data details, achieving "data availability but invisibility".
Asset Sovereignty: Your physical assets (such as equipment, goods) are generated on the chain with a unique digital mapping through CID (content identifier). Holding the private key of the asset gives you the highest control over it, and you can autonomously decide how it participates in collaboration, flows, or mortgages. Any disposal requires your authorization.
(3) Ecological Participation: Everyone can build sub-ecosystems
Because GEDIS is a rule framework, any organization, region, or industry alliance that meets the requirements can independently deploy a sub-ecosystem or specialized application that meets its own needs, based on the core protocol.
For example, a logistics association in a region can build a "cross-border logistics trusted collaborative subnet" based on GEDIS rules, and an industry association can set up a "green production certification and trading platform". These sub-ecosystems operate independently while being interconnected with the main network and other sub-ecosystems through standard protocols, jointly forming a vast value internet.
In summary, in the GEDIS ecosystem, you are not a "user", but a "co-builder" with complete sovereignty. You retain control over your own core digital assets, while being able to collaborate efficiently and trustfully with a broader network based on a set of global consensus rules, and can build your own business ecosystem based on this.
